What Chemical Plant Operators do
- Prepare, measure and feed raw material and processing agents into plant machinery
- Set controls and operate machinery
- Check instruments and equipment to make sure of correct operation, taking into account any unusual operating conditions
- Obtain samples for testing and then test products
- Record data
