What Boat Builders do

Draw sketches of the structural components of boats
Create templates, prototypes and patterns from drawings
Provide, accurately position and install internal and external components of sea vessels
Build cradles and slipways to support ships during construction, transportation and launching
Assist with and supervise launching and slipping procedures of boats
Carry out repairs and restorations of sea vessels

The Future

Employment for a minimum of four years
