Traineeship
What Vehicle Dismantlers do
- Using hand and power tools to remove vehicle parts including panels, bumper bars, steering wheels, seats and other reusable body parts
- Dismantle engines, transmission systems, electrical components, wheels, brakes and other parts for stock and resale
- Clean parts
- Tag and store parts for resale
- Transport vehicle parts using a forklift or crane
- Assist with administration of business (buying and selling, paperwork and customer service)

- Interest in practical and manual work
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Good oral communication skills
- Interest in the automotive industry
- A good level of physical fitness
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- School Certificate
