- Maintain aircraft engines, electrical systems and aircraft frames, where required dismantle, inspect, and reassemble
- Fit and install electrical circuits and equipment
- Check aircraft communication equipment, instruments and electronic systems
- Administer pre-flight inspections
- Instruct and enforce safety regulations
