What Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Tradespeople do

  • Repair or overhaul aircraft electrical / electro-mechanical components, instrumentation and display system components
  • Perform routine pre-flight inspections
  • Inspect, dismantle and reassemble aircraft engines, electrical systems or aircraft frames
  • Install, test, align and troubleshoot aircraft communication equipment, instruments and electronic systems
  • Explain and apply safety procedures and practices
