What Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Tradespeople do
- Repair or overhaul aircraft electrical / electro-mechanical components, instrumentation and display system components
- Perform routine pre-flight inspections
- Inspect, dismantle and reassemble aircraft engines, electrical systems or aircraft frames
- Install, test, align and troubleshoot aircraft communication equipment, instruments and electronic systems
- Explain and apply safety procedures and practices
