What IT Support Technicians do
- Identify the hardware and software needed to find solutions to computer problems
- Assist in the modification of existing programs to meet clients’ requirements
- Provide support services to customers
- Install and download appropriate software
- Connect users to networks and provide training to all users’
- Network with vendors and programmers
- Providing information for customers’ computer purchasing decisions
- Provide initial training and self help instructions for computer users
- Undertake housekeeping and report writing for areas of responsibility.
