Work Health & Safety Regulations Workshop for Managers of GTOs

Time: 10am - 1pm, Wednesday 28th March 2012

Presented by Youthsafe, this 3 hour workshop has been specifically designed for Managers of Group Training Organisations to:

• Provide an overview of the Work Health and Safety Regulations.
• Examine the implications of these changes for Group Training Organisations.
• Discuss strategies that can be implemented by Group Training Organisations to ensure you meet your legislative requirements.
• Be interactive and discussion based with specific examples from Group Training Organisations examined.

The model Work Heath and Safety (WHS) Act, Work Health and Safety Regulations and model codes of practice came into effect on 1 January 2012. Model refers to Safe Work Australia’s model WHS framework, which includes an act, regulations and codes of practice to be adopted by each jurisdiction. This training builds on the information presented in the WHS Act seminar for GTO managers last year. It will examine the new Work Health and Safety Regulations and the implications for Group Training Organisations.

Please note that this workshop is for CEOs, GMs, WHS, CFO and other managers. Training for Field Officers on the WHS Act and Regulations will be available during March, April and May at various locations throughout NSW. Dates, locations and times will be confirmed shortly.
