Travel Consultant
What people in this role do:
- Supply literature and information on available local, interstate and international tours, travel routes, accommodation, fares and travel regulations
- Advise clients on travel options
- Plan, prepare and cost itineraries for clients
- Make all travel related booking required for customers including travel and accommodation
- Provide any information clients require on luggage limits, insurance, passport, visa and currency requirements
- Confirm bookings and collect payments
- Record transactions
- If required assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings
Your chances of success will be better if you have:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Excellent personal presentation
- School Certificate
