Travel Consultant

What people in this role do:

  • Supply literature and information on available local, interstate and international tours, travel routes, accommodation, fares and travel regulations
  • Advise clients on travel options
  • Plan, prepare and cost itineraries for clients
  • Make all travel related booking required for customers including travel and accommodation
  • Provide any information clients require on luggage limits, insurance, passport, visa and currency requirements
  • Confirm bookings and collect payments
  • Record transactions
  • If required assist with changes to travel arrangements and bookings

Your chances of success will be better if you have:

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • School Certificate


 

The Future
