Customer Serviceperson

What people in this role do:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist face to face customers in their specific enquiries
  • Encourage customers to use all services and products offered by the company
  • Provide personalised customer service
  • Maintain database with details of each customer or prospective customer
  • Arrange the distribution of products, information kits or brochures to customers and interested parties
  • Follow-up client calls with clerical duties, such as faxes, paperwork, credit checks and liaison with other departments
