Real Estate Agent

What people in this role do:

  • Arrange the sale of property on behalf an owner
  • Discuss the best method of sale with the vendor
  • Arrange a time for inspections of property
  • Discuss with the vendor presentation of property for sale
  • Gives vendor information on current market price and suggests a reserve or minimum selling price
  • Advertises the property for sale
  • Interview prospective buyers, discuss what their needs in a new property are and assists locate a property
  • Organise inspection for buyers and discuss the merits of the property
  • Advise on the terms of sale
  • Draw up legal agreements between vendors and buyers
  • Assists buyer organise finance and insurance.
