Printer - Small Offset

What people in this role do:

• Take orders for printing jobs and advise customers on choice of paper and colours
• Provide information on costing and completion dates
• Prepare plates, blankets and impression cylinders on small offset lithographic printing presses
• Load paper into feeding mechanisms
• Check machine operations to ensure quality printing
• Clean, repair and undertake maintenance of the equipment
• Collate, trim and staple documents if required
• Maintain production records

Your chances of success will be better if you have:

• Technical ability
• Good eyesight, and colour vision and attention to detail
• Aptitude for mechanical work
• Team skills
• School Certificate
