Graphic Pre-Press Tradesperson

What people in this role do:

• Develop visual ideas and proposals
• Develop and organise layouts and finished works, including font, type-size, positioning and illustrations
• Utilise computer programs to manipulate images and type to meet requirements of all involved
• Produce and process photographic imagery
• Scan and adjust the colour and contrast of images
• Prepare a wide range of printing mediums such as letterpress, offset lithographic plates, gravure cylinders and flexographic plates
• Input, transfer and alter electronic information for a variety of devices including scanners and multimedia systems.
