Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Worker

What people in this role do:

  • Receive raw materials and check delivery and store appropriately
  • Operate and clean machines including conveyor and processing equipment
  • Monitor and check products for dispatch by sampling
  • Organise weighing and storage of bins and boxes
  • Operate machinery to complete chemical treating, size grading, crushing / extracting / mixing juice, freezing and drying foods
  • Operates equipment to produce pharmaceutical products such as pain relievers, first-aid dressings, cosmetics and toiletries

Your chances of success will be better if you have:

  • Enjoyment of practical and technical work
  • Hygienic and neat
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • School Certificate
