Information Technology - Support Technician

What people in this role do:

• Identify the hardware and software needed to find solutions to computer problems
• Assist in the modification of existing programs to meet clients’ requirements
• Provide support services to customers
• Install and download appropriate software
• Connect users to networks and provide training to all users’
• Network with vendors and programmers
• Providing information for customers’ computer purchasing decisions
• Provide initial training and self help instructions for computer users
• Undertake housekeeping and report writing for areas of responsibility.
