Kitchen Assistant

What people in this role do:

• Wash and clean used utensils and dishes and store appropriately
• Sort, store and distribute food items
• Wash, peel, chop, dice, cut, cook food and prepare salads and desserts
• Arrange laundering of linen
• Clean food preparation equipment and kitchen tools, floors, and dispose of rubbish appropriately

Your chances of success will be better if you have:

• Interest in practical work
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work quickly and safely
• Good personal hygiene and fitness
• No skin allergies to foods and detergents
• Good oral and communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• School Certificate
