Seafood Sales Assistant

What people in this role do:

• Prepare fish and other seafood for sale in shops or fish market
• Clean, filleting and displaying fish and other seafood behind glass counters
• Attend to customers, and help them select fish
• Provide advice to customers on availability of fish and other seafood and methods of cooking
• Take special orders and notify customers when stocks arrive
• Use cash registers to complete sale transactions
• Wrap fish for customers
• Keep the shop clean and tidy
• Follow occupational, health and safety practices
