Food Processing Operator

What people in this role do:

• Receive and check raw materials, bins of fruit and vegetables as they are delivered, and organise weighing and storage as required
• Operate, maintain and clean conveyor and processing equipment
• Check products and take samples for dispatch
• Prepare and sort fruit and vegetables for processing, and feed into machines
• Operate and programme machinery to do chemical treating, size grading, crushing and extracting juice, blend flour, mixing, freezing and drying foods

• Ability to work with your hands
• School Certificate
