Public Service Worker
What people in this role do:
- Work for a government department either State of Federal
- Take calls, answer enquires or redirect calls to the appropriate persons in the organisation, book appointments and record important dates
- Undertake office duties and operate office equipment such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, switchboards, computers
- Check correspondence and file with other official records
- Write letters and reports on behalf of the organisation
- Talk to clients and other company personnel
- Organise meeting and prepare agendas
- Maintain budget and account records
Your chances of success will be better if you have:
- Australian citizenship or permanent resident status
- Good character
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Confidence and good interpersonal skills
- Discretion when handling confidential information
- Good computer skills
