About Group Training in NSW

The Group Training Association of NSW (GTA NSW) is a network of not for profit group training organisations. Collectively our members employ over 8,000 Apprentices and Trainees with more than 6000 enterprises state-wide.

While there are many strategies promoting the uptake of apprenticeships and traineeships, Group Training is unique in focusing on fit-for-purpose solutions, retention, completions and employer satisfaction.

In NSW, where there are areas of high youth unemployment, yet skills shortages threaten the viability of some industries, GTOs are an important partner in addressing both demand and supply side issues.
